If your pipe touches or is heating up the cage at all use a bit of silicone tubing around the plastic to dampen the heat touching it.

Found it on ebay mate, it was a toy 1/6 scale, paid £16 for it don't know what i am going to do with the rest of the truck it came on, stick it in the bin i think..lol
