I suppose it depends just how hot it is when you run it, how rich/lean you run it, and how long for.

Perhaps an old Bernie Eccleston idea may help - the old Brabham BT46 fan car http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brabham_BT46 ?
Could even help you go around corners better!!

that was my thinking, but if i had a body to run in the cooler months it might not be bad, but during summer it would be off.
got some of the little things worked on tonight.
put fullforce extended cups on the front, didn't like the sag, much better now, and got the kraken chase cage adapter installed. had to tie it into the extension piece that came on my sc due to the pipe. but should be a little easier now. had to work most of the day, then watched the fights tonight. so hopefully going to get the other break-in tanks through it tomorrow.

was able to go out and run some more last weekend, didnt get to the final break in tank, but got the 2nd one done.

Well both boxes showed up Monday. Here's some pics. Will be doing some installation over the next week or so hopefully.




Just need some rear hubs and some irp steering turnbuckles and I think she'll be good for a bit.

still having nice weather around here, so still playing with this. once it finally gets cold i'll pull it all apart and replace some parts and clean her up again.

also took it out today and was messing around in a spot i normally do, and right near the top of the jump it grabbed traction on wheel wheel and launched it at an angle, and broke the rear bumper. go figure, lol. it rained last night and was hoping it would mean better traction. but its dry enough it soaked it all up and you couldn't really tell.
at least it broke that instead of the cage

well took advantage of a sale that ddm was having and got a few things
irp turnbuckles and standoffs, new air filters, and rpm rear loop.



also got to take it out yesterday before the superbowl, here's a vid. towards the end of the day i decided to put the hpi tarmac busters on it just to see what it'd do with them

Yeah. It definitely wants more gearing. Lol. Hopefully soon I'll have more options. Just need to get some more upgrades. Mainly front tires that won't balloon.


Got a few more things on the ddm sale that showed up today
X2 chassis, some more hostile boots, hostile nightmare rear tires with zero growth hard foams, hostile outer beadlocks with silverback inner, umbrella seals, and some other miscellaneous bits.
Not sure if the twin will get the x2 chassis or if it'll be the start of a ground up build. But couldn't pass up the price.

been messing around with my fine line air brush a little, and decided to try it out on some rims, and a new gear cover. get those matching the rest of the car

painted inside and out of the rims, this way you can see it through the spaces in the rim too. let these cure a day or 2, then i'm going to get some clear on them and get them installed.

got some clear coat laid, and wanted to see what it would look like with some rubber on it, so i put one together.

got a little video at the nitro test and tune i was helping out at the lhs

the lhs owner came out with this guy and said i think it will ride on here, sure enough it's hands were shaped just right to hold the cage.

had a bad connection on the plug wires, hoping thats that running issue.




tried an msd coil wire kit, and it ended up being a little short, so i found some wire on ebay, had some coil wire ends i had at the shop, and took the msd boots. here she is now.

found this was broken when i had everything off


have a spare one, but i think i might upgrade to aluminum, as its my second on that broke in the same fashion.

have some other parts on their way, should be here tomorrow or next day. some new gearing, and my side body mounts that were missing when i got this. more pics later

got my package from obr, some new gearing, a new layshaft bolt, and my side posts.

got the gears installed, but decided to upgrade a few other things



darksoul v2 axle extenders, fuullforce front shock tower, flm cups set, little heavier diff oil, and brake shims,

Modified cups to fit darksoul pins. Just have to install cups in diff clean case refill oil and finish putiing back together.

had a grad party i attended yesterday, but got front shock tower installed, and also picked up my outerwears from the post office this morning.
