I think I actually have enough spares to put another savage and may be another xl together if I felt the need to go nitro again. But tbh the k5.9 nitro was too much of a pain to keep tuned. I Have 2 or 3 complete engines laying around for it. Thought it was me at first, then realized its just that stupid engine design. Bought the dbxl, and then converted the savy to brushless. Thing is mental fast on 6s. And I can tame it down for the daughter so suck it.

Tell you what, go buy one with the k5.9 keep it tuned for a whole day and let me know how long till your replacing it with another engine or converting it.

I am fixing to fire one up here in a few days after it sitting for a few years ,I had been running for about 12 years!

it'll fire up. They don't seem to mind sitting forever. With fuel.bring so cheap I should look at what a gallon of 30% costs.....
Edit fek that quart of 30% Morgan fuel is $18.00 before shipping. They have a gallon listed at $47.00

Do I bother cleaning my airfilter?? Like 2 1/2 hrs on it and it doesn't look dirty at all (outerwear on it). So I don't think so, newbie question ???

I wouldn't bother cleaning it ,its only been in & out twice!....
