Well she is officially done, don't have my hopes up for the cvd with the 85 but we will see. Drilled the one end of the dogbones to accept 1/4" pins for the irc cups. I will likely end up having to custom make everything, but we will see. Waiting for Taylor or someone to come out with something beefier so I can modify it instead. 20230820_145916.jpg20230820_145927.jpg20230820_145938.jpg20230820_145624.jpg

Set your throttle to 50% of max travel. Lol
You have too much power!
That means it just right.
Can't wait to see the size bones that will survive. Course welding heat treated metal usually does funny things. Unfortunately it doesn't usually make you laugh

I did my own heat treat after, but yes you are correct. Usually will make it soft again, this case they are just to small.

Hopefully this weekend though I'll have the axles sorted. Having a set made to my specs here locally.

Decided to rebuild the rear shocks while it's broke. Having some custom cvd shafts made tomorrow to my specs. May be running after all by next weekend went with a 40wt on shocks as they seemed a bit bouncy with the factory oil

Redid my limit straps, last ones how I did them wouldn't hold up, finished my shocks up also. I also swapped my v1 akill tires and foams to axis wheels instead of the triton wheels.

So update, cvd are done. He didn't follow quite what I wanted, but they look like they will be a good starting point. These look like they will be weak on the cvd end, which is where he messed up but we will see. Hopefully get a run in tomorrow 20230916_172936.jpg20230916_172932.jpg

Oh dear! I guess he was thinking steering clearance to turn them down near the ball. Depends on the metal I guess. Maybe he can make another set for you if the give out there. I just don't understand how any parts hold up to the power rigs this size can put out. Best of wishes to you and hope for the best.
