jeez imprssive lot of spares you got there. nice cage too, never seen one like that before!

love the wheels as well.

Andy is the cage custom made?

Yes the front section is fully welded with the wing mount in plastic to give some flex & help stop the wing shattering! Again, it doesn't look the best close up at the moment but will be ok when Ive stripped it & repainted it (or powder coated it). The section that goes over the radio tray is welded to the main cage and bolts through the servo saver. If that bolt shears it will probably fook the servos as well its going to be mod'd.

Chevy Corvette has A leaf spring - composite and transverse I think - and it's an American car that can go around corners - very well!!
Pity we never see ANY of Keith's doing that !!!:lol::lol::lol:

Ive been busy today :D Full strip down, straightened the chassis, re-greased the diff, cleaned everything up..........pics to follow when I get them loaded up!

There was a thread somewhere regarding engine markings relating to size etc. This was sold as having a 23cc but it says 29cc on the cover :w00t: Assuming its std, how do I identify it?

Any ideas on the engine? There is a number stamped on it which is '5600'. Not sure whether its a zen or cy??

the only real way to find out size of the engine is strip it and check piston size,,,in most cases if its a zen its marked on it

Just found a very faded sticker & can just make out that its a zen 23cc. What are the std 23's like compared to a 26?? Any noticeable differences??

The strip down has certainly uncovered some horrors. Having looked at the gears & layshaft brake I honestly don't know how this thing ran and stopped :scared: It has been neglected big time and any repairs have been botched.
