Sorry bud Im down here for at least a month now. I will let you know when Im next back home unless you fancy a trip down here - Im staying about 15mins from Nene Valley!! Or......tell the missus you want to go to Essex for your hols & I will see you there for a bash with Ren & Wagon :lol::lol:

Well a bit of an update , got a standard marder roll cage fitted at the mo but just ordered the rest of the parts to convert the cage to the baja one, also ordered the final bits I need to finish the car so here's a couple of pics for now and I'll update as soon as my other parts turn up :):)

you got front towers for it as I'm sure I have a pair of Baja front towers spare..

Shock tower is under the shell and I've just put a very expensive order into freeprawn racing for the rest of the bit to finish it :w00t::w00t: cheers though mate ;)

My final order of parts for my rebuild (hopefully) came today from Nige at www.freeprawnracing.co.uk so thanks again Nige for a great service as always ;)

All I need now is a new tx as I sold my Sanwa gemini 2, guna go for the specy dx2e untill I get used to the pistol tx then my get Sumat different ;)

looking good mate,,ive only ordered the once from freeprawn and got great service i didnt think they done many fg spares but had the part i needed and i got it fast

Yeah Nige has listed a lot more fg stuff recently and if he hasn't got it it only takes a couple of days for him to get it and ship it, he rang me yesterday to tell me the last couple of bit had arrived and he was shipping it out, that was 4.30 yesterday afternoon and they arrived about 10 this mornin so can't grumble at that for decent service, but sayin that I've never had any probs with him ;)
 
Managed to get on the build this weekend, took some oil out of the front shocks and I now get about 10-15mm rebound now instead of the full I was gettin before :) also completed the front end.....

Rebuilt the rear shocks too, 2000 oil, new seals and new springs. Got them built up and fitted and set the ride hight so it sits level and with the rear arms level with the chassis so happy day there ;)

Coming along nicely and the shell looks great :cool2: When you taking it out for a shakedown? What steering servo you running?
 
Well the car is 99.9% finished now just got to order my new Trans kit and a superbee and I'm done......hope you like......

Cheers mate, as soon as I get my new tx and superbee then the distraction begins :w00t::lol::w00t:

The servo is a hitec 5745 mate the same one that was in the Leo ;)
