I'm looking for a car strictly for on road. XR is the only one I've found that looks decent. I need inputs about this car. Thx.

Not too crazy about used. Looking to spend no more than $700. I bought a used 5B few weeks ago, motor locked up during break in. ?. But Dan did sent me top end rebuild kit for free.

I'm thinking you'd be able to convert your 5B into the mustang. Just different control arms and whatnot
I've been searching for a list of parts to do conversion. I just converted 5B to 5T. Shouldn't need a whole lot to go from 5T to 5R.

It's a cool looking body. It's in my eBay cart atm. Still debating on which, G Rally body or Rampage XR. About $170 for the body plus cost of road tires ( roughly $100 ) or $620 for Rampage XR 4WD. Decision decision decision. ?

My younger brother bought into the red cat hype. Needless to say he isn't in the hobby any longer. I'd personally think a body and some controle arms / dog bones would be the cheaper route. Hpi has exploded parts breakdowns on their web sight.

Hope this helps
Thx. I own 2 Redcat. The 1/10 scale TR MT10E is almost indestructible. Rampage MT is another story, but Redcat do have great customer service. They sent me all defective parts for Rampage, new motor and all servos.

Yeah my younger brother is a cheap arse. He got 1/8 when they first started making them. Servos went the first run. Which ran the truck into the wheel of my pick up... red cat did stand behind it and sent him everything to fix it. Then we started jumping it. Shocks would bend, severe a arm flex. Think he even bent a few dog bones. Last time it was out he blew the rear diff. Now I'm going back years..... at least 6 I'd say if not more. I was still running my tamiya rock crusher at the time. Just left a bad taste in my mouth for them. Like I said it was one if their first trucks could have been a lemon.

I think their products have improved a little since then, especially their TR series. Rampage MT is great so far, after all replacements.
