As you guys know I'll be moving?? what should I do with my lipos? First things first put them in storage mode?? should I put them in the container by sea or take them as luggage on a plane??‍♂️
No idea but aren't y not allowed to bring batteries on the plane? Or is that carry on ? also I'd put em in a lipo safe bag and put that into a ammo box cuz they are a Facking BOMB ???

I would storage charge them, place them in a lipo safe bag and just pack with you other household items. are you loading a shipping container? if so im sure they will be fine in there.

no way will you be able to take them on a plane in you luggage :ROFLMAO:

Oh ok id think they would not want them in hand luggage ?
I am a cinematographer and regularly fly with large batteries they always want them to be on carry on. I’m not sure the logic maybe they want to be able to throw them out of the hatch or flush them down the toilet in case anything goes side ways haha

It's been close to two years since I've flown. At that time they had to be in my carry on luggage. Couldn't be with my tools in checked luggage. Which sucked. All the batteries for my drils, impact, flashlights, and spares for my laptop ended up with me on the plane.

They have to be carry on as they can't be put in the luggage hold as its not pressurised like the cabin. I believe there is a limit to who many you can take on. There's a specific calculation to which allows you to see if you come under that. You can find it on Google

FedEx and TNT will ship Lipos (classed as Dangerous Goods - can't recall the UN number) so you could have a freight forwarder send them ahead of you - again quantity is limited I believe.

I only tend to ship equipment with lithium batteries in (such as laptops/flight data recorders) so not 100% sure on doing them as they are.

Sea freight is fine, but takes weeks and isnt as reliable
