As many rounds of 30-30 and .45acp as it will purchase. My bills are covered for 2-3 months. If things don't settle down by then, bills will be the least of peoples concern. Might see if I can find a few dozen more chickens for the farm too. Fresh eggs are a necessity to me.
 
Good luck on buying ammo. All the common calibers are out of stock, and price gouging is crazy. I normally bulk buy at the beginning of the year to hit the sales. Glad I did for most of what I shoot. 5.56, .223, .308, 30-30, 30-06, 22lr, 17hmr, 380acp, 9mm, and 45 acp are basically all sold out. @21bangbang, I'm sure you should have a decent stock pile? If You lived through the last panic buy you should have stacked everything you wanted deep. I did/do.

Ya, I've got thousands of rounds, plus reloading capabilities. I buy it fairly regularly throughout the year. I only really shoot 30-30, 45acp, 22lr, and .410. The only thing im not overflowing with is the 45acp. Not exactly the most important of the 4. The 30-30 is my go to general purpose gun. Its a real beauty. Roughly 30 year old marlin. This rifle has the most pristine action. It always feeds and fires flawlessly.20190215_183232.webp
 
Well I guess you guys are going to get some "Special" visitors soon. Now they know Who has what and where. What a great tactic,make everyone stay home and use the internet. I'm sure many are going to say things they normally wouldn't. Next thing you know there's someone at the door.
Talk about a captive audience.

Unless you're allergic to dogs and or their saliva. Really sucks when I break out in hives where a dog licks me on face or neck . The amount of hand washing I do around my moms dog you would think I was trying to avoid C-19 or the plague.

The only people allowed to have guns here are cops and crims.
 
The situation is not ideal we get it??but it's not gone all to ? it will buy the sounds of things get worse before it gets better? but this is not the walking dead series or any other fantasy that we get fed ? this is real life?? and we all need to be positive friendly thoughtful and all that good stuff now more than any time I can remember.??? instead of sowing seeds of doubt and fear coz I I rekon we will get through all this?? people are reading this and we are a community here be positive ??

The men in black? Every firearm I own is at least 30 years old. No ID or registration required. They only exist to me.

That sucks. Everyone deserves the right to defend themselves. When seconds count, the police are only minutes away. God bless the 2nd amendment.
 
With all these devices spying on you all the time -ie: phones,computers,Amazon,Ring,Google and govt, I'm sure they know who has what and where.
Now they have the perfect setup to watch you(for your own protection of course). Being stuck inside with all these monitors,they know when your last piss was.

New Jersey goes into lockdown or (full stay at home mode) 8pm tonight for everyone.

I live in NJ and this is the list of places that can stay open

  • Grocery stores
  • Farmers markets and farms that sell directly to customers
  • Other food stores, including retailers that offer a varied assortment of foods comparable to what exists at a grocery store
  • Pharmacies
  • Medical marijuana dispensaries
  • Medical supply stores
  • Gas stations
  • Convenience stores
  • Ancillary stores within healthcare facilities
  • Hardware and home improvement stores
  • Banks and other financial institutions
  • Laundromats and dry-cleaning services
  • Stores that principally sell supplies for children under five years
  • Pet stores
  • Liquor stores
  • Car dealerships, but only for auto maintenance and repair, and auto mechanics
  • Printing and office supply shops
  • Mail and delivery stores
This pretty much let's everything stay open so the lockdown is only keeping people at home at night and early in the morning.
 
Nothing has changed in MD/DC. I even went to work today. Stacking the overtime before it closes down. I work near the cherry blossoms downtown and it looked like a regular day. Tons of people and cars out. Doesn't look like the government is going to do a full shutdown. I think Trump is leaving it up to the local principals. The reason DC/MD/VA has not closed down yet I'm sure is because we are what makes up most of the government employees.
 
I completely spaced on getting more rounds for the shotty and now all the gun stores are closed for the duration(n)the government officials in New York are super worried about the hospitals over flowing. It’s gonna get weird around these parts before it gets better. Going to run my losi today though. At least my hobby involves open spaces(y)ill try to remember to shoot some videos or you freaks

Im still 100% not concerned with covid 19. My only concern is peoples behavior from our self induced, economic collapse. Being from SA im sure you're quite familiar with how dangerous desperate people are. People in the 1st world will be no different when put in the same situation.

That stinks. Hope you have a few boxes at least. If I remember correctly you're in CT. Sanzzeris in Thomaston is open, with a large variety of shells. Might be worth a road trip if your 100% out.
