Lets talk real gas mixtures and oils

I know what's recommended, I'm curious if anyone thinks or runs otherwise? And different oils different mixtures?

I just assume some peeps are running more lean. Just curious how lean. I've never ran redline. But I've heard good things about it.

25 or 28:1 is pretty normal. Some guys run as high as 50:1

Probably 30:1...the 2 and 3 are close. Some people have fat fingers never know

28/1 or 32/1 usually with VP ethanol free and dominator. Thinking of going 50/1 people say its ok with the dominator. I have a few extra heads if its not.

No. I just run it because that's what I had mixed for the 70cc, so it's left overs. If it gives me problems in the future I'll lean out the gas and oil mix (like 28:1)

I picked up Dominator email. Think I'll go with that for now. Start out with 25:1 see how that is.

28:1 is what OBR reccomends for my engine so thats what I use . Presently using Yamalube but once its gone I'll be switching to Royal Purple.

Gotta highjack the thread a bit, do you have to retune if you switch oil ratio? Like for say 20:1 and you switch to 28:1

Carb settings were about a half turn off for both high and low. I set them at stock settings it fired up. Had to ccw the low needle a quarter turn. Its idling great. Going to do a cpl heat cycles first since its nasty out with rain. Supposed to rain tomorrow too... can I buy diff and shock oil at a local store anywhere? If not I'll have to order it online and wait. Was going to take it apart and add the proper oils to shocks and diff while it's raining tomorrow.

Check if you have any local hobby stores. Having the right oil and wieghts Definately help. Team ascociated does some that local hobby stores carry often.
If I remember right the stock shock weights for the Baja is 5wt in the rear and 40 in the front, with 5k Diff oil. Could be wrong ,someone correct me
