Z, do you see that the grass was all clumped up on his crankcase and no overheating? So no more grass in your tight spots ???![]()
Wasn't talking about that, was referencing the thread we derailed a few weeks back. But yes I do see thatZ, do you see that the grass was all clumped up on his crankcase and no overheating?
That just makes me think there was an underlying issue with my ss?Wasn't talking about that, was referencing the thread we derailed a few weeks back. But yes I do see that
Could be. Or maybe that v2 case is just a flawed designThat just makes me think there was an underlying issue with my ss?
No.So no more grass in your tight spots ???![]()
Ah damn. Past 420 pm, we'll get em next time ??
I tend to agree. My rc's always get plugged with grass, never once cooked a head from it.That just makes me think there was an underlying issue with my ss?
@AnubisBC also has the v2 reed motor??
If it is underlying, I hope it doesn't rear it's ugly head again, now that he has a new top end ?Yep, got it clogged up with grass underneath last run and didn't cook it. I was even running lean that day due to some sort of blockage in the carb (glad I caught that one in time!). The design of the case kept the grass from infiltrating the flywheel and clogging up the ignition, just like a mesh mod will. I agree with Crucial. I think his issue was due to more factors than just grass.
You right about that?If it is underlying, I hope it doesn't rear it's ugly head again, now that he has a new top end ?
After a few tanks pull the head and see if you're getting minor wear marks. Hopefully you catch it early if you do have a issue. You right about that?
Oh I sprayed her out with wd40 and drained it 4 times looking for anything to fall out. I didn't find anything. I will do an inspection after a couple tanks and let you guys know tho??After a few tanks pull the head and see if you're getting minor wear marks. Hopefully you catch it early if you do have a issue.
