Hi guys me again does the outerwears shroud do the job of all the other covers in a one cover does all or do you recommend the individual covers?

If you plan on keeping your 5ive-t stock, buy them all. If you plan to upgrade the intake, then hold off on the air cleaner cover and just keep cleaning the filter until you do.

Yeah, I would recommend one for the pullstarter, and maybe the crankcase, but there are many better things to spend your money on.

This specific shroud will only fit the HPI Baja 5t, not the Losi. They make one for the Losi: http://www.largescalerc.com/30-2756-chassisshroudforthelosi5ive-t.aspx but it won't protect your engine or anything else like the pullstart and crank covers will. It's good to prevent water splashing coming in from the front, but that's about it.

The HPI 5T version is a total circus tent. Impossible to make any adjustments in the field. You literally have to disassemble the stock roll cage to take the thing off.

But also wanted to add that I could not get the supplied velcro to stick to my brand new zen 320 for the crank outerwears. I had to abort that one. But my next motor I'll def try that job again! We all run in grass and need that gear!

I kind of have a thing for keeping hook and loop (Velcro) on hand for quick fixes. I got this at Home Depot:

Super cheap and you can cut it to whatever thickness and length you need. Try scuffing your case with some 220 grit sandpaper or a scotchbrite pad and clean with alcohol or carb cleaner, then sticking this stuff on it. Should work like gangbusters.

Crankcase outerware should fit just fine. Craig was having issues getting the supplied velcro to stick to the crankcase. The full shroud in the picture above will only fit the HPI 5T.

I've found cleaning the case with simple green before applying the velcro tape is the most effective.

Had the same thing the supplied Velcro wasn’t even sticky, ended up just doing mesh mod which I should of done first
