Seems like the 320 long block will be best bet. All i will need is the clutch housing, shroud and intake. Appears everything else will transfer over to new motor.

Are the CY and Zenoah flywheels interchangeable? Also, whats stopping me from using this stuffed crank in new g320?

Any of the following should be fine from what ive gathered. Aside from the few small extras needed for the 320

Totally different internals,Completely new bigger cranks.
C.Y. + Zens flywheel are interchangeable on 23-30.5.
There's no 320 CY.

Interchangeable parts between- Zenoah, CY & HY engines:

- clutch plate, shoes and spring
- carbs
- flywheel
- pull start
- exhaust
- spark plug and coil

I'm looking for a +2mm crank possibly,if it's in good condition.

I run FG rc's so smaller engines are better-2wd light cars.
(I'm thinking of putting a 320 in one anyway - ??)
I have a 29cc 4bolt engine that had the same damage.

I bought new case + piston/ring etc. I might just try to use head since it had good compression or
I might just get a new head and attempt porting using damaged head as template.
I have a 2bolt upgraded 23cc > 26cc ported head,that runs like a champ.
I think 2bolts can't handle much above that reliably,but there's always exceptions.
I have ZEN,CY & OBR engines.
 
How is that easier??.
A CY case is also interchangeable with a Zen case + it's cheaper.
If your going to do all that,you might as well get a long block of whatever size you want.
UNLESS your just dead set on building an engine yourself,what's the point?.
Your basically starting from a crank?.
You've been given good viable answers to your questions.
Buying a long block removes any potential user error and provides you with a limited warranty, if anything does go wrong.
I don't get what's so special about that crank,I have stuffed cranks but I know their use case.
I think you need to take a week off from making any decisions regarding this.
You can't use my example,I have several engines and am choosing to build another one.
In which I except the chance I could do something to cause it to blow up.
You said your looking for " bang for the buck" well this ain't the way to go for that,unless you have the spare parts or can get them cheap.
I suggest you look at longblocks at ddm.

Not that I want to admit it, and it was before camera phones. I had one pop out in a friends saw I built, many years ago. Destroyed the top end, and took one of the bearing out of the bottom end (plastic spacer in between the balls on the clutch side) I blamed the cheap ebay parts he bought. Lesson learned. Cost me more then it was worth to fix.(on my dime) now I make extra sure those dam clips are in right. Live and learn. At least you werent doing it for someone else.
