I'm a 14 year machinist (cnc multi axi mills and lathes) and I have complete reign to do whatever I would like during my shift as long as my current production parts are running (always are)

My boss has taken interest in my cars as of lately
(I brought In my savage 5.9 one morning to take advantage of our high psi compressed air and other things)

He has 4 very high dollar and quality 3d printers with many many different kinds of plastic. As well as carbon fiber and others.

He's currently printing me some wheels and a prototype cooling head for my tmaxx. I was wanting to try out a 3d printed exhaust system for my losi 2.0t that is on the way today.

The plastic we have will definitely handle the heat ? but I need close dimensions as far as the pipe goes. He can hold a 003-.005 tolerance all day long. How would I go about getting these?

Anyone have one and is handy with a set of calipers by chance? ??

Mainly about everyone one inch I would like an od measurement. It don't have to be extremely accurate and I realize that it changes as you move around /across the surface

This thread took a dark turn. Gotta love the old interweb, a place of unlimited rage and butthurt people. Im sure plastic can work. Ive seen lexan support a full size payloader and not even scratch. Stood the whole machine up on it while crushing down the dumpster. If it can handle that, 1/5 should be no problem.

Ahh there's always one asshat in the class.

I'm fairly confident it will hold up too. Especially since I do not plan on doing anything too hard core for awhile
