What plastic will take 1000 to 1200 Degrees F? Head pipe temps get that hot when running hard. As far as aluminum for a header. It will get soft after a while at those temps.

I have a degree in metallurgy. Lol

The 7075 should hold up fine for header purposes. I don't plan on racing or doing all day bashes.

As far as the heat resistant ABS, I'm not entirely sure. I'm definitely going to find out lol

Ill build the 3D model tomorrow and give it to my boss. He does the printing I do the machining lol
What is this sorcery? Are you some kind of wizard?

I don't know a damn thing about 3D printing. Please enlighten me. Do you have an actual product name for this high temp plastic?
Do some Google searches on 3d printing :)

It's fairly new to me as well, my boss is the one who's brain ? you would want to pick on that topic. He picked up carbon fiber filament today so maybe some new control arms or something in the future too ??

I don't think its all that outlandish. Its probably not plastic like we're all used to, more of a composite perhaps. Ive seen just lexan and polycarbonate do some amazing things and its just off the shelf stuff. Id imagine much more advanced plastics exist. Guess we're gonna find out. Worst case scenario we all get to laugh at his molton exhaust stuck all over his electrics.? seems a win win to me???

There was a guy on you tube. Testing this little Briggs engine. Did all kinds of stupid crap to it. He had a lexan head on it. Even used a bolt for a spark plug. Sparked off the cylinder deck. I was surprised how long it lasted before it crapped out.

I absolutely agree lol

I've machined ALOT of plastics over my decade and a half. Teek. Abs, Delrin, polycarbonate, pvc, oh God and so many others I'd have to read my resume to remember ? the stuff is truly incredible though!

I'm ordering a new pipe tomorrow lmao but this is still definitely happening

I guess you cant figure out that block button huh? I beat em with a rusty rake. Leaves more marks. Your 10 year old must be proud of a father like you ;) teach em better.... Lol but lemme get my ? and taint your posts and derail lol. Since you cant learn the blocking system but pretending to ignore lol. ??

What is that exhaust? A high school trombone? What exhaust is in that picture? Lol

Why have a exhaust that supposedly puts out more power but weighs more than the car? Not to mention the weight displacement. That's the most rediculous thing I've ever seen. I'm sorry but that's a fact lol. It's like mad max meets 1/5 scale.
