They fairly hard ,, I'd say a medium compound. I just gave em a test and they feking HOOK! I recorded a video, at the end the front wheel flies off (forgot to tighten them, cuz I'm a feking clumsy idiot ?‍?) and starts raining. But there's some good footage. And it's even faster now that it gets any grip ?

Iirc home depot has the correct size nuts but they are not serrated. If you get them try to get a star washer??

Ace Hardware is the bomb for single bolts and nuts, etc. See if you have one of those nearby.
