5iveT with OBR 47cc Pipe Options?!?

Hello. I have a 5iveT with an OBR 47cc engine. Came with a Jetpro pipe. I can't really complain about performance. The pipe design I don't like. It is too close to the carb and is too big and heavy for just one mount point. I either need to rig up a second mount point for this pipe. Or find an alternative. Any input as to another pipe option would be greatly appreciated. Thanks -Gman

Iv also been mmming and aaaahing bout my jetpro pipes and they are just in the way? and no one has twin pipes in stock? bet a custom job for both of us would be the way to go?? olimat engineering is down the road from me so that we be the first stop?? why don't you get hold of chris bartalone?‍ he may help??

You are correct it isn't super impressive. I got this truck with this engine on trade for a Traxxas Xmaxx 8s. Dude was frustrated with this truck. I finally got it the best it is gonna get. But the pipe no matter what I do comes loose. Then it is so near the carb.. It is frustrating. It is just a modded CY gp460 goped engine. I mean it rips. But it is no ALX or RCMax that is for sure. But it will pull on a 34 and down.

and from what I know that’s the only exhaust avail for that engine on a 5iveT. But I’m sure you can modify any exhaust to fit on there ??‍
or like you said just weld up a extra support bracket ??

Thanks. The header isn't coming loose. The pipe is coming loose from the mount bracket. There is only one mount for this huge pipe

yes he had nothing but trouble with his ?but now he's fully rebuilt it it should b ok...?.guess he'll b out with it soon hopefully so.i. can get sum vid of it?....getting smoked by my 34??

the 46/7 makes 12 bhp'ish ....so only 3bhp if that... more then the obr34v2 9.4bhp?...BUT it is a lot bigger then the 34 sizewise so gonna b heavier ☹

ahhh ok well either way both of them are out of my spending range at the moment.
