Once I get YouTube certified on carbon composites???I will be making body panels. First panels will be for the vekta.5 then losifivet 2.0
Red reflection carbon fiber for the vekta5

If every thing goes right, I will be selling them as well. Different colors, carbon Kevlar etc.???

@Z.hb71 ive been watching videos on YouTube and there are a couple different methods of doing it. There’s a vacuum infusion , and just a regular way which is using the brush and applying epoxy. That’s the method that I will be doing. Once I get it down I will be buying the other equipment for vacuum infusion??

Yeah the brushing method is what I've seen ? tell us how it goes/how easy or hard it is to do ?

The time that goes into it and materials costs won't be worth the effort. You can't get a smooth finish brushing on epoxy and you'd have to do multiple layers of carbon cloth to get any decent strength. I know from experience! I did an experiment making the little side plates on my Losi 5T with carbon cloth. I did 6 layers of cloth with resin and let it set between two flat plates with pressure. Even with 6 layers it was very flimsy. I ended up doing 6 layers of carbon with 2 layers of fiberglass mat. With all the hand sanding I had to do to get a nice flat finish was way too labor intensive. I had the intention of selling sets because they would be easy to make. WRONG! I did one set and that's all I ever made.

I’m making the mold out of fiberglass. Same method as laying the carbon fiber. We’ll see how it goes

Plenty of money in it if your good at it and efficient. Have to know what your doing to, carbon is very strong if done correctly

It can be, it's very dependent on how its woven, specifically the direction of the layers and how many/ how its adhered together. It's worth a shot at any rate, I'm waiting with baited breath.
