DBXL DBXL revving but moving slow

Any idea what could be the issue with DBXL moving slowly when revving it up all the way? Any suggestions on what to check?

when I give it gas, the engine will rev up like normal, butit will only move slow

id say ...... either your end points are not set up right or the clutch is lose...... hard to tell without listening ? but thats where I'd start??

I've seen this issue recently...check your cv/ drive shaft pins and check the mesh on the pinion/ spur gears..should be one of those 2 if not possible clutch issue

Most definitely missing a pin in drive line

I'd check the drive pins as well. The slowly get flm shafts as you wear out the stock shafts.

So I finally had a change to take a look and i think a pin from the front part of the drive shaft popped out. If this is correct, where can I find the pins to replace it?

common fault on db's☹...i cant remember pin size ?as i sold mine years ago but im sure sumone will b along with the info?

4mm pins. Get a set of flm center shafts. No more pin issues.

Yes! But be sure to adjust endpoints after the fact. Their little screws that holds the pins in will tear away at rod ends.

Yep, get two. One for the front and rear. Then ditto what @Jshaff16 said.
