My throttle randomly stops working (stays open). I thought it was the servo so I replaced it with another hitec still same problem. Then I took the spectrum radio out and put the futaba in and still have the same problem. Once the problem occurs I have to turn the cars power off and back on to get it working again. It's in a losi 5t with and alx 40. Could it be ignition interference or if anyone has any other thoughts I'd appreciate it. The linkage is free also no binding there, battery are full charged.

Iv got the radio linked to 2 other car with no problem and the spectrum radio acted the same way. Iv been running slickes on grass till I get this sorted out and a kill switch should come on these big ass car right out of the box.
I agree on the kill switch thing ! check your wiring you may have a short somewhere.

If your brave put your hand on the spark plug boot while it's running and touch a finger to the block to see if its jumping...on a car if its arcing out you'll hear it clicking

We will hear him all around the world if there is a break in the insulation, anyone who's had a crack off an HT lead never forgets it, instant cursing following by throwing your hand about trying to shake it off lol.

I had a Hi-tech freak out on me whenever I used a NGK iridium plug. With the cmrh7 it was fine. Always made me nervous it was going to take off on it's own which is exactly what it would do when glitching, full throttle! I think it was the 7980TH but it's been a while.

So to update this thread I did find out what was causing the "glitch". Ready for it!? The ziptie i used to hold the front drive shaft boot.?‍♂️:ROFLMAO:...I noticed the ziptie had been "ground" down and I moved the linkage past it and yup it contacted. Well I have a new servo for when I need it now

i would also check the battery. not sure if this could spike and cause the servo to go crazy. i know when i put a LIPO 3s battery in my 5b both servo's throttle and steering would go crazy. when i switched back to the 6v battery they stopped twitching.
..sorry didnt read last post before posting this..
