See? Told ya ? sexy motor ?
Your always on point with my riddles???
Fekk yeah!! Go big or go home??????
You know it. Just in case someone else wants to do this just know its not for the faint at heart. ALX puts the engine 17mm more forward on the chassis so new holes will need to be drilled in the chassis. And with that she doesn't sit too well on the rcmax pro am chassis so some more mods will be needed.

You can also see here how far the carb sticks out past the chassis

This is damage from the t90 spacer. Careful for anyone using the t90 and the pro am chassis. Shouldn't be a problem. With the stock chassis. Oh, my t90 has been sold too.

Damn that's a big feking engine. What you going to do about the transmission ? I thought the stock one was even worse ?

I never had problems with the stock transmission. ALX did a great job of only using the bearings for the now "non-step" gear and slipper clutch. The pinion is isolated on its own bell bearing. With the one size middle gear the hole setup is beefier and stronger??20201208_202104.webp20201208_202739.webp20201208_203801.webp20201205_181121.webp
In case anyone was wondering

Ok cool, I suppose if Alx built there motor around the stock set up it must be fine ? that color brings back memories ???

Noice bud?? I'm sure you have a few tricks up y sleeve to get all fitted and bolted in jus right?? lets hope there is still time to get it out ??
Doubt it. She's going into a deep clean and long sleep on the shelf till next season.
Those are some beefd up gears for sure. Just assembled my stock trans last night just so my trucks drive shaft wasn't just hangin and smakin the new upper links.
Thats wassup. I just got the updated rear driveshaft too. Been seeing too many horror stories about them coming loose. And when I took mine apart the pin was starting to come loose. Vekta owners beware.
