DBXL 2.0 What should I know before I get the Losi DBXL 32cc 2.0?

Yeah v1 DBXL wheels will fit. They're just standard 1/5 scale 24mm hex, so any fit really.
Just check the dimensions, well the diameter really. Losi 5iveT wheels are a good choice
Wheels for the Baja 5B are too small, they're only 170mm diameter, Baja 5T and 5SC rear are a good choice also, they're 180/190mm

I ran baja rears on mine and you'll will have to use "smooth" inner bead lock rings, so if you buy mad max wheels you need to change them out because their beadlock rings are raised around the screws and they hit the turn turnbuckles

It's plug and play
Also for the hilatronics servo, will I need an aftermarket servo arm or can I just use the stock one or the one it comes with?

Can I get those smooth inner beadlocks from DDM?

If the dbxl has a metal arm which im sure it does then yes you can and yes you can purchase smooth beadlock rings from ddm as well. Ddm sells their own brand of the rings which are reinforced

So my hilatronics came today, installed, tuned, running good with my badlands mx57 wheels. One problem; I believe it is eating my battery up like no other. Also possible my battery isn't charging fully. In the case that its the servo eating up my battery, what ways can I mitigate this until I get a juicier battery?

What battery are you running? Brand , 2s? And what's the Mah on the battery?.... no need to compensate for a battery just gunna have to get a higher Amp battery

Just picked mine up. Kill switch on the way. What does everyone recommend for a pipe? Figured I would just start with those for now. Is it recommended to do break in with the pipe?

Nevermind I was worrying about nothing I was looking at the battery charge on my transmitter after I turned off the buggy so it registered as empty but it was actually full. Also, what air filters/stacks/prefilters would you recommend for dusty/dirty use? I already have an outwears short stack but it doesn't keep the dust out too well.

Seeing how a blew up an engine in an extremely dusty environment with a uni short stack, oiled redneck pre filter and an outerwears, I'd recommend a spyder filter off of ddm. @crucialRC runs or ran a spyder filter and said they were great

Would I need an aftermarket air box for that spyder filter to fit my dbxl 2.0?
Also it states I would need a velocity stack for that, what would you recommend?

Also, do you know of the turtle racing billet air box would fit on the dbxl 2.0?

If I was you I'd call up DDM and ask for Steve, he can help you
I tried calling didn't respond I left a voice message though. I'm just looking for an airbox assembly like the stock one that will fit aftermarket air filters but I can't seem to find any.
