Which gear set for Vertigo Transmission?

If I get the Vertigo clutch carrier unit, upper brace, and rear carrier plate... which gearing set would be best to start with (for general driving). I will most likely be using the ESP Ported Zenoah G320RC 31.8cc 4-bolt engine with a victory pipe. I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT I AM DOING AND AM LEARNING AS I GO!!!!!

That is pretty sweet. What gearing are you using?
This will be my first gas rig.

Believe it or not it's the stock gearing. I did a build thread on the vekta .5 with the absolute minimum to be a good rig.

I'll check out the thread. I'm ok with putting down some coin if it makes sense in the long run, but I don't want to spend it where it is unnecessary.

Think I have 19/22 in mine with an esp 34 in it. It's a nice mix of torque and top end.

I honestly don't know the difference between the normal 34cc and the 34cc ported. Is there a huge difference between the 32cc and the 34cc?

Porting and a proper pipe makes it all come alive. Do the 34cc race ported esp engine and a vrc unsilenced pipe and you'll be very happy with it.

Sweet. I got the VRC pipe on the way (it's the DDM deal of the day right now). When the time comes I will get the 34cc ported. Anything special I will need for putting it on the rig that isn't included?

ESP is the most economical way to achieve 34cc.
Port work costs money. Takes labor. Increases the price.

This is my first gasser, so I literally have nothing... would it be worth finding a used motor and then applying the upgrade?

I wouldnt buy a used small bore as their cheap and who knows what hell it went through. Do it once do it right.
