My new VEKTA.5E ULTRA from down under Australia!

Here is my VEKTA.5E ULTRA with quite a few upgrades...also swapped out the supplied Leopard 530kv with the BIG BLOCK Hobbywing 560kv & now runs cool as a cucumber after running 74MPH

This motor is no joke as I can easily gear the hell out of it but 74MPH is plenty enough!

These Krakens are very different to my 5T & 5B, yeah they are solid monsters that’s for sure

I have the ultra I also changed to motor to hobbywing 560kv I run a 20t pinion and it's a runner

You can actually squeeze on a 21t without any mods to the motor plate and the mesh is spot on

OK thank you so much one last question going to upgrade my vesla to hobbywing 650kv what size pinion are you running mine is stock 17-57 will a bigger pinion work on stock motor mount thank yiu

Hi mate - my Vesla stock has the 650kv with 18t & as per Kraken website they have 20t as an option so theoretically you could go as big as 20t

Thank you I got mine 23 months ago then they upgraded to 12s I'll up grade motor esc 12s battery trays and harden diff gears

I would also look at getting the dual fans for the motor via Kraken - I have a friend with 650kv (12s) & he says that the motor still gets to 190F hence fans are good insurance

I never had a problem with the supplied V2 driveshaft but I did upgrade to the V3 as it has metal retainer clips to hold the pins in

I haven't either but I have seen people switching to these.
