So how is it not lining up? You tried lining up the bolt holes with the zenoah engine when it first came assembled and that didn't fit either?
 
Correct. I got it to line up with that non oem cover that gets bolted to the crank case. The biggest issue I have is that the gears aren't perfectly lined up, the big gear is too close to the brakes, but not touching, so it may be ok. The clutch issue I didn't know about until everything got bolted on....
 
Well thats not good, can you confirm that you received the engine with the short clutch housing option? Seems the clutch housing is a bit long.
 
I don't believe it is the short one. I went in person, and no option was given, and I didn't know there was an option.
 
Post #21 I did mention to you that you need the short housing if you look at the options on the engine links you posted it asks you to pick from short (losi) and long (hpi baja) Clutch housings. You picked the long one I take it. That's why I said you need the Cy stuff as the zenoah Clutch holder and Clutch hardware needs to be changed... you need to get the right Clutch housing to correct this issue, just make sure it's labeled that it fits the g320rc only.

What do you mean no option was given? The only option given to you was from DDM and picking the correct clutch housing...
 
I went to fearless rc in NY, in person. He (Dan the owner) didn't ask me about clutch housing size, and I didn't know about it until I started posting my issues. That's when I ordered the CY Fan housing...

I hope I don't have issues like this when I get a Vesla roller to build. Lol The CY / Zenoah differences are irritating. Maybe I'll just get the Detroit performance / Taylor 35cc V2 version and skip the headaches.

I sent it back and picked up the CY Fuelie 38cc from Fearless and I'm happy now.
