Hey everyone.
I just finished building my FG monster competition truck.
I have the Futaba 4PK radio and R604FS FASST 4 channel receiver.
My truck uses 2 Steering Servos ( I bought 2 brand new Rhino Digi 4 Multiplex) and 2 Brake/Throttle Servos (I bought 2 brand new Hitec 7955).
Prior to connecting the servos together, I tested each one and all worked fine.
I connected the Steering servos via Y cable to Channel 1 and brake and throttle via Y cable to channel 2.
I used a 5 cell 6V 4600mAH battery for power.
After turning on the power, I tested the steering and everything was smooth.. Then about after 2-3 minutes, the steering bacame sluggish. I decided to disconnect the steering servo's from the Y cable and test each one individually and noticed that 1 of my RHINO Multiplex servos was DEAD. It would not power on or show any signs of life.
This situation happend TWO Times. This is the second Rhino servo which has died in a similiar fashion as I have described above and both of the servos who died were on the RIGHT side.
Can someone please help me and tell me if I am doing something wrong??? Is it better to do the "Mixing function" and Mix the steering servos?
Any help will be greatly appriciated.
thanks
Mike
