    Any thoughts?

Nearly sets himself alight in that video, checking out the remedial work with the torch still alight!! Glad the dents came out so easily - supposed to have quoted the video! Al.

    Kold Kutters

Work great on ice - that's all! Used to run a set on my old FG MT in winter. Al.

    1/8scale V12 mini IC engine

What will this fit into, currently already made, or will a custom chassis / car have to be built around it? Always liked the idea of a Conley V8 - just the multiple cylinders in a scale vehicle - always nice in a Cobra, Corvette, or similar. If you had a scale model Ferrari or Aston, with the...

    New Duox 2WD

Very nice looking. Interesting access considerations - but the exhaust looks a little exposed. I hope consideration has been made for rapid - pitlane - repairs. Al.

Whats everyones stance on running in public with todays society and liabilities

This was one of the reasons I left the hobby - it was getting increasingly difficult to meet up with others, in a responsible manner which would be accepted by others not interested in the hobby 'walking their dogs' or flying kites, whatever nearby. Trying to consider locations, prepare kit...

    Gluing and Un-Gluing Tires

I've had good success with baking and boiling - I managed to remove MCD tyres off their rims, to place onto the alloy FG rims I had at the time and removed, with persistence, without damage. There is risk of both burning your hands and deformation (of plastic rims) with the heating, so be...

Curious on a solution to stop shock leakage?

Main thing, mentioned several times above, is the O-ring. Another related is they need to be soaked in the oil before fitment - never force shafts through dry. Al.

Fuel tank hole lid not threading caps properly

As Rep mentioned earlier up the thread, be very careful. Once the aluminium thread cuts into the plastic that's it - I did that 10 years ago with my FG MT. I ended up with a new tank, and threaded VERY CAREFULLY. It was correct, but every time I removed the alloy cap, I always replaced VERY...

    Is 1/4 Scale too Big?

I suppose it depends how big your garage, garden / yard and bank balance are .... !! I'd love to have and be able to rip around in a 1/4. I had enjoyed my 1/6 and 1/5 gas / petrol beasties. 1/8 electric is just a nice size to bash around, and work on, without getting too much in others' way. Al.

    Drive stick?

Manual or Auto - depends on what it's for and how it's installed I suppose. I'm driving Honda Civics the last few years. I had a 6-speed manual 1.5T and loved the gearbox, relatively free-revving engine - for a turbo, etc., but hated the chocolate clutch - one of those dual mass flywheel...

    Anyone know what these are?

They're like a 'dressing' kind of closed nut, the type you find on 1:1 engine covers, engine filter, etc. Al.

    yee haa....

Last remains of wife's / youngest son's efforts pre New Year probably about to finally melt today - still there, which makes it a 10-day-old Snowman!! In St Helens of all places! Al.

    Anyone else watching

It did start by leaving Europe, then down into Africa .... Paris - Dakar. More recently they've been using South America - playing in the Andes - Peru, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia. Last few years they've centred on the Middle East, where they are now. Very harsh, and good luck to all who...

Happy new year! If you’re in the US check your bank account?

So they overTax you, you make a declaration, they verify it and based on this issue a rebate, with a cheque in the post? Couldn't it simply be recalculated and corrected directly into your account? Al.

    Twin Pirate Monster

Nice to see something like this still around. Definitely not irrelevant - anything R/C car, truck, other that's interesting. Bet it's not the easiest to keep running 'though!! How's the fuel consumption? !! Al.

has anyone see tire balloning on this level?!

First thing I thought of was 'hope he's wearing safety glasses !! He wasn't so totally agree - was lucky this time around! Al.

    OOOOOO,,,,, CRRRRRRAAAP !!!

I've been looking at other videos - seems to have justifiably taken off. Handling and jumping seems absolutely brilliant. Performance for a near 5kg truck only on 3S is quite impressive as well. Hardware seems to be well set up. Son uva Digger has a problem with the front grille - very exposed...

    OOOOOO,,,,, CRRRRRRAAAP !!!

Don't know about you, but unless the drivers weren't very 'R/C-talented' then the handling doesn't look that good - perhaps a little 'softening' of the suspension is required? I love GD and Monster Jam generally, and have always liked Team Losi, but my initial enthusiasm sort-of dulled a...

    RickDizzle's Raminator Build

Looks superb. I used to love my 3 Losi Raminators - 3 scales - for different reasons, but this is in a different league. Good that even without the hop-ups, there's some construction required - gives you a chance to 'get to know' the truck. Photos and videos required once complete of course...
