I really, really like the looks of this. I'd do it but then again I know I just use these to bash in any weather in the end.

Only ran them on pavement less than 1 minute !
Need to do the mesh for the crankcase and add the pull start cover before off roading and the shiny will go away ...

Work done today, installed the bigger bearing in the clutch holder, machined with the dremel, not the best job but homemade !






Done the mesh mod for the crankcase :


Let drying this night and will reassemble tomorrow

Ran the baja couple more tanks, ran great, nice power too and something stop the engine brutally
The 2021 new rod style :

I m a specialist ???
I checked my notes and it was 14 tanks on it, may be not enough oil, i m at 2.5% ( 40/1) with motul 800 and regular sp98, may be not enough for this km 34?

i'd say either rod failure up top, or wrist pin bearing failure causing rod to fail

The compression was very good and the connecting rod was not enough résistant, it's not a zenoah engine...

The make of engine isnt in question. It's what broke first game at this point.

It's probably the upper wrist pin bearing

The futur engine is a zenoah G320
I'm going to build it with my remaining old but new parts, and a new top end, bearings, seals, the crankshaft is new too so a fresh engine !

I made a short video of the engine idling ( last time i prepared for a vid, i broke the engine..., sure i will have more luck with this one!)

Replaced the KM carb by a WT1107 with ball bearings, and the engine sounds clearer, added the snappy rc valve, and done some nice runs

Hi,
It's long time, i'm back to the rc
Last year broke the km diff cup :


Then i bought the IRC driveshaft :



So happy when i got them ! Just less when i saw that i can"t install them into the wheel hub, so i bouht this :


With my little stock G320 they will last years !!




In the same time i was clever and tought bigger is better and enlarged the exhaust outlet :



But bigger is louder !!! so i reduce the outlet diameter and if to small iknow to enlarge
