Slowly putting this rig together. Stock rear swaybay clamps don't work with Taylor RC rear bulkead. There is one threaded hole to mount a swaybay clamp. Anybody else come across this issue? How'd you solve it? I could just use 1 screw but that ain't gonna stand up to my driving.
Welcome to the world of modification.

Swapping this g320 out of the dbxl and into the baja. Rerouted the killswitch wire and swapped in the baja air filter onto a brand new 1107 carb. Obviously a new clutch is in order. That hole in the case is from the rear brake rotor on the dbxl. Also installed the killer rc taller radio lid and cage risers. Split this DDM dom pipe to make it a 2 piece and wrapped it. Hopefully that helps to prevent the melting cage syndrome. This buggy will be ready to go soon. Unfortunatley I can't work on it as much as I would like due to some arthritis in my hands.

My experience with running 2 Bajas over the last 2 years: get the Outerwears for the pull start and crankcase
the Bajas are a magnet for loose grass and twigs and anything else... I would always get all that grass under the engine cowl, stuffed around the coil, by the spark plug (like your pic)...

Thanks man that came out of the dbxl.

Anybody know which clutchbell fits this 54 mm clutch carrier from Taylor RC. The stocker is too small for the bearings

Not sure if anyone else came across this issue but here goes. I'm running cage risers front and back on my Baja. So centre cage brace is too short to snap back in to top of cage. I cut it and spliced it together with this 5/16" hose. Just have to get the length right my 1st attempt was still too short. 1.5" of hose was used on each side fits perfectly.
New to me Hostile 2° rear hubs all polished with new bearings.

Had it out for a short rip on Sunday. Didn't take long to get dirty again. Handles well still ironing out the yamadude throttle linkage.....the throttle portion is hitting the cage and not returing to idle unless I force it with brake input. Not stressing it as I have a new cage to run as soon as I get a compatible pipe. Picked up the cage and chassis in a local deal super stoked.

Just need to fuel it up and put the cage on. This pipe should sound pretty crispy with the g320. Added a stack and new filter set up as well.
