Too be honest I have no idea what it truly is other than what it would say in a package...as @Top Dead Center said thats not what was supposed to be in there so thats why I pushed to get the clutch ...maybe I won't like how it engages. I don't race so having a crazy clutch is pointless to me. But I would enjoy having a snappy clutch

Would make sense if it was a 7500, I'm pretty sure when you buy a zenoah g320 off the shelf they will come with a 7500 anyways.

You should like the 8k. It's an easy swap anyway if you don't. Cheers for getting them to send a new one.

This is what I'm being sent. And its the part number from the manual. It says 8000k its a red spring. I think it's an 8k clutch

Im pretty sure i will like it and the guy said atleast you have a spare clutch now. I remember as a kid playing with my nitro cars there wasn't much of a "warranty" if it broke or wasn't right you were kind of on your own...at a mechanic stand point it blows my mind these rc cars are like real cars almost with the fact of having warranties ?

Yeah for horizon owning 3/4 of the 1/5 scale rc made, they seem to do well in warranty claims.

That also blows my mind that alot of companies that once stood on their own are now under one roof... some great cars and trucks came out from companies competing...i wonder what it will be like in the future

hmm, seems like I had a 6k spring on my 2.0 as well. Was replacing clutch since no meat left on the shoes. Attaching a pic of the spring from the clutch I’m replacing and the 6k spring that came with a stock Zenoah clutch, both felt the same as far as tension, easier to put on/off compared to the 8k springs I bought separately. Just ran the new clutch with 8k spring and tbh I can’t tell the difference

Thats strange. I see their black springs and I'm not sure what rpm those are. My original was raw steel colored. And how did you like the 8k spring? I'm pretty sure I. Going to put my original 6k clutch back in

Didn’t feel much difference running 8k, seemed identical. I never run on any high traction surfaces though, always dirt.

I bet you can tell the difference with the 10,000 rpm one.
My son and mine both had plain springs like that on our 5t clutches.

Guys easy with the high rpm springs, yes it will give you more snap, but your also limiting the available rpm of the engine, a stock zen is rated to around 15k rpm. That's 5k rpm of usable power from the engine, and the higher springs will shock load the drivetrain harder. Just a thought.

Well said...i prefer the 6k spring now due to losing 2k worth of usable engine rpm.

Yesbwe have chewed some of the same dirt my 5ive t @.0 did the same thing took everything apart athe clutch is hanging by about 2 threads no loctite at all.
