3 piece body

I never had to deal with this. All my bodies were abs shells or 1 piece lexan. The corvette is 3 parts main body hood and ass end. How do you join them?? Just messages fg supply
They said m3x8mm screws

Ya know I totally forgot about FG Supply!.... I believe you use rivets to secure them.

Does it really suck tho? If you can get removable rivets then ya can replace torn up fenders. I personally think it would look cool.

Only multi piece body ive had was the losi and the roll cage holds it all together. Ive had a traxxas 4tec body that the rear bumper was a combination of small machine screws and double sided tape

I'd paint it and break out the shoe goo, and glues them together

Original FG's used screws. So you could replace damaged panels without needing to buy a complete new body.

If you mock up the body with the chassis and mark and drill holes for "small" bolts you can achieve your goal

Just use the screws,its no big deal. My FG bodies have screws. I think that corvette body maybe legal for race series(guessing) that's why the 3 pieces. It make replacement of damaged panels easier as I stated previously. After the first big crash,you'll appreciate the separate parts...??

Love the nostalgia of that body...you best not be messing that body up! And please paint it a true mclaren f1 color!
