I'm sure a worn in 6k engages around 4k. Give it a shot, you can tell us how fast a 6k wears!

they do thanks !i think ddm sells a 5k spring
new spring used clutch, an 8k clutch should ENGAGE at 8k not release. At least thats how we always setup our Race Kart clutches !But it's releasing @ 8k. Brand new clutch?
the spring would have to get HARDER !!! thats not gonna happen it will loosen up and engage later in the rpm' band so running it a long time will make it looser., I have 6k , 8k and 9.5k springs Im gonna test them all on the exact same setup.Could you run that spring in your rig for say a tank then re-test for us?
When the spring gets weaker it engages sooner not later.the spring would have to get HARDER !!! thats not gonna happen it will loosen up and engage later in the rpm' band so running it a long time will make it looser., I have 6k , 8k and 9.5k springs Im gonna test them all on the exact same setup.
ya I got that backwards ! guhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhWhen the spring gets weaker it engages sooner not later.
nope ! it is a shelf queen now LMAO well a dyno queen , put a spring on a air cyl stretch it 10,000 times then measure the pullSo now that you've been set straight, can you run that spring through a gallon of gas and re-test? ?
I calibrated it with a 4 lb speaker actually ! lol the sensitivity is 0.1 Lb at this pointIf my truck is snappy and rolls with throttle I know my spring is working ?... if it shows engagement at 11k rpm your fulcrum lever may not be as sensitive as it needs to be. How did you calibrate it? If it was me I'd want theload cell to pick up atleast 1/2lb or less to be more efficient ..but who knows who am I to comment ?

it is a stable 11k ! so its not bouncing off the load at all , this is where the clutch stays engaged , they are fekkin springs after all and I would not be suprised at all if the #'s are BS for sales sake.Well alteast its sensative. Im wondering when its up at "11k" its squatting or something as its getting loaded up and it wants to twist ..probably anything less its not gunna show much on the graph? Like I said im not too sure but I've seen v8's run on engine stands and not fall off and ive ran 15L diesel engines on cut frames on the floor and those don't hop or twist across the floor so with these I would assume the recording equipment needs to be SUPER sensitive
