Hi peeps am getting an upgraded air filter for my 5t 2.0 was thinking crazy stu or turtle billet?which would you guys go for or any other recommendations getting the oilmat unsilenced pipe too? Thanks

Not that I could tell. I also have a silenced VRC pipe for the same buggy. I don't see any noticeable difference in performance. Next time I swap them out I will check for max RPMs on both.

You should see a bit more bottom end out of a similar silenced pipe and loose a touch of top end power. Not that most of us would notice as were not timing laps.

a silenced exhaust vs a unsilenced exhaust is a huge difference noise wise. They will both be loud but the silenced one doesn’t have the loud pinging echo that travels...


I upgraded the exhausts on my 5iveT’s Both are str8 exhaust no silencer. They are so loud I can’t run them in my neighborhood, my POS neighbors call the cops on me EVERY TIME ?

My neighbors are super cool so far. The one closest to me has the biggest yard that wraps half a block, he's more than ok with me rippin through his yard. I try my best not to do donuts or rip up the grass ?

Most people come outside and watch.??‍

I haven't had to deal with police yet. When I first got my car I was driving it back to my house from the dirt lot, about a block away and a lady came out and asked if I could please stop since it was past 9.(she lives directly next to the lot) I told her no problem I'm on my way home.

My new exhaust gets here next week so we'll see what transpires ???

right now I’m running a BR unsilenced exhaust. Love the sound and it’s loud

for the air filter, I’m machining my own. I got a filter from eBay, and gout outerwears prefilter. I should be done with it today
