New Era making 1/4 and now 1/3 cars (and not what you'd expect)

don't know if this was posted yet, NEW ERA started to make 1/4 scale "Cars" once more. You can find them on their site, although they also list the old 1/4 vehicles, just that they are all sold out of course. But if you see the price they want for these cars, its crazy, I just hope no one gets taken for their money. There is nothing to the "leadsled" and 1/3 "vette".

Here comes the Hammer, they can be yours for 4950.00

damn!! thats a rip off if i have ever seen one!! know wonder nobody buys that crap. it has no suspension, hpi wheels, rigged up hubs and a crappy chain drive motor with a live axle. looks like a small go-kart with nice shell on it. looks like someone lost "the touch" and got lazy. for 5k you would think it may come with a better radio. that radio cost $60.00!!

Thats New Era Though, they used to be easy to deal with and had some decent prices, but since about 2000 they started to jack up their prices and try to get every one, that purchased from them, for as much money as possible.

Not sure why anyone would buy one of those? They do look like a mini cheap go cart made up to be a R/C. Very disappointing.

Funny, that's been coming up since last year. Just check out the question dates. And the auction is for a Pre-Sale which is against ebay rules but they will not take it down.:nono:
