Baja 5b Roll Cage

I broke my roll cage today and I am looking to replace it. I am thinking about going with a metal cage, but the only ones I can find are chrome. Is is worth getting a metal cage over a plastic one? and if so who sells a metal cage that is black? It seems silly to only have one chrome part on my baja and I don't want to paint a brand new part. TIA

Id stick with plastic?? steel has no flex

plastic , steel will just bend . plus, its all rovan that makes the steel cages so its probaly made out of the cheapest pot metal you can find

I had a really nice steal one many moons ago, don't remember who made it....it eventually bent until it got chucked!

I think so actually. I cut it for quick disconnect, used internal rods to keep it together.

Loved that cage, would mind another, but windows don't work right with it.
