If you are speaking of savsb2336mg.... I think you mean

SB2236MG? - this is brushless + NOT waterproof.

It does run full power @ 7.4v
Spektrum is like ford and chevy opinions lol

Cool.

AVR ... on a spektrum radio (avr on OR off) with a failsafe-equip gas engine is the reason why I prefer my Futaba. Spektrum servos however.... never actually used them but for the money if they are quality is a great deal.

I could pick a quality servo using a blind taste test. Sound is everything. You can tell everything about a servo by how it sounds.
Sound isn’t everything though, had a savox sw0320 (I think, was a 15kg waterproof one) in my Traxxas trx4 for 2 years being submerged before it sounded awful but it ran for another 2 years before it burnt out

Hi, been looking to get two quality new servos as I’ve just had my second stock one die and the cheapy replacement I got for the first one is on its way out… been thinking about the spektrum s9120 and 9110 but open to other options..
Promodeler servos all the way. It’ll be the last time you have to worry about a steering or braking servo. I have two DS2180BLDP servos installed and a DS1735BLDP for braking. From reinforced hard points to bronze bushings, there is nothing better than Promodeler in my opinion. Each DS2180BLDP is 2,180Oz-in torque and DS1735BLDP is 1,735oz-in torque. What a beast.

That’s cool but not practicle. It’s way over kill. But I like it.

Only place to buy pro modeler servos if straight from pro modeler.

I love the pro modeler stuff. I do have a bunch of his servos.
Each servo draws 14 amps on 2s
Straight battery power.

Could you show me the data to support the 14A draw? I have very different results from a power meter running 3 1/5scale Promodeler servos from a single 2S LiIon pack. 90% of the session (25min) average 3.7A with occasional spikes to almost 5.0A, and one single spike at 7.6A. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤔
You sell them?
No, I just own a lot of them and have put them to the test. Unbiased data from power meters have been more than impressive. You can only buy direct from ProModeler. It helps ensure customer satisfaction and to an extent, quality control.

From pro modeler info. Not my personal info.

Still smells fishy for someone that "supports" a company you are awfully defensive toward criticism of their products. The last bit where you state purchase only from promodeler to ensure customer satisfaction?
I can understand WHY you might say that. If I owned PM or sold their servos, I would be proud to say so. That said, this is a Hobby for me as much as it is for you and anyone else. I say this because you asked about a servo recommendation and I happen to know which ones will work for you since I have years of experience with this platform and over 30yrs of RC experience. Bottom line, if you want a stellar servo that will outlast the rest of the RC components, then I suggest the Promodeler servos:)
