Hi guys,

I have very limited knowledge on RC gas boat and I'd like to try it.

Nearby where I live is the Bonzi fountain 64 for sale. Asking price seems high and I'd like to know how much you think it's worth and is it a good pick ?

Thanks :)Screenshot_20251001-143127.webpScreenshot_20251001-143130.webpScreenshot_20251001-143134.webpScreenshot_20251001-143140.webpScreenshot_20251001-143152.webpScreenshot_20251001-143156.webpScreenshot_20251001-143159.webpScreenshot_20251001-143203.webp

Just looking at the pic that 64 fountain has carbon fiber, cool head, and race pipe options. Every Bonzi built boat will have a serial number. You can call Bonzi and get the original build specs and invoice when new. Otherwise the motor and if it runs will greatly impact the value. Electronics functioning property? Assuming everything checks out I’d be comfortable with $1000.

Yeah seems nice. Asking price is $1075

Looks vintage but in good shape. Are you going to grab it, does it run ?
I think you are correct on vintage. It says it has a McCulloch engine from the 70's.

If it wasn't a 3 hour ride to it's location I probably would but for something I don't need I will pass. It would be pretty cool with that engine , it brings back the thought of running the McCulloch kart engines as a kid. He says he has a video of it running from 9/22/2025

@Timetoshine my honest opinion is if you want it to go fast it's not the right boat. It's cool for what it was and for what I wanted to do it needed be severely over powered. The best it did with a fully modified 30.5 was 35mph, generally the people buying those boats have the real boat and they want a replica of it basically. What's your intentions with it?
