You can make a hybrid if you got the cash for it. More parts selection and also combining 2 great platforms....also if you have Facebook the marketplace has a bunch of bajas on there

Damn man I never thought of that. I bet it wouldn't be that much more expensive then buying and upgrading a baja.

Depends on how serious you want it to be but im sure you can start with a zen and when money is right go for a big bore

Why's that? To be blunt go buy a 5ive b kit and forget the finding an old baja or buying a clone. Chuck a spool in the center and pull the front cv shafts.

Im with sean...if you lock the center diff you can run fwd if you like

It's a kit, so you can build it up how you want. Sadly out of stock for a little. But if the 5ive t is king of rtr off road trucks, the 5ive b is as close a second as you can get.

Owning both a losi 5b and a baja ill say that there is no comparison the baja has the widest selection of aftermarket market parts of all 1/5 you can have many different looks all on the same platform a real crazy drive but a female dog to work on
Losi on the other hand is a more predictable platform 4x4 point and shoot reliable and easy to work on
Id not swap one for the other .......I say buy one of each and get back to me

I do say the 4wd is nice tho as you say doug point and shoot. If you wanna get it to be wild then lock the rear diff and keep the front loose and let me know if you can keep it straight at WOT

Yeah my 5ive t is quite a handful the way it's set up right now, the esp 34 is a real screamer in it.

I also own both a 5ive b and Baja 5b. They are completely different beasts, Baja is crazy fun and unpredictable and a wheelie beast. 5ive b is sleek, fast, stable and handles great. If I had to pick one it would be tough. Rovan ain’t that bad after you replace the engine, drivetrain and electronics, along with a few other stuff. If I was in your place, I would get a 5ive b and do what me, Sean, and rep said. It is a great build and will go smoothly with good tools. Total build cost of the 5ive b will run you ~1.3k-ALOT .
