Carb rebuld?

With the metering lever height. If the tip of the arm is too high? You can push it down carefully. BUT and this is real important. DO NOT raise the arm up when still in the carb if it is too low with something under the tip of it. It will cut a groove into the rubber tip on the inlet needle. Sometimes people will just put a diaphram gasket kit into them and not mess with the needle. Keep in mind to look real carefully at it with a magnifying lens to see if the rubber had eroded away at an angle and not sealing. I had this happen once. Multiply gasket kits into the same carb and a ton of fuel ran with it and than it would not run correctly. Took it off and put another carb I had with me on. Got back home and looked at it real carefully. The rubber tip of the needle had eroded away on one side.
