Hello,
I have a nitro rc car that wont turn on for some years. I had it stopped at my parents garage.

Now i want to turn on but i just realized, the carburetor don't move and the flywheel don't move either...impurities and dry oil on motor ?

I just removed the glowplug and the filter from carburetor, and threw oil to the holes... that would work?

What can i do more to put that motor working?

Thanks

Heat will help soften the oil that now turned into molasses. Whats happening is the oil residue that was left in it now is in between each ball in the crank bearings and not letting the crank turn. What I do is spray a bunch of wd-40 into the crankcase and let it sit for a day. Next take a flat head screw driver and put it between the chassis plate and the flywheel and bar the engine over like that. You will have to see which way the engine has to turn just pay attention to the pull start cord. If it starts to collapse the silicone hose your going the wrong way so just spin it the other way and once its free enough just pull it a bunch of times. New fuel will help to free up the crank too. As far as the carb you need to be very gentle with it as well, I would personally remove the carb off the engine and work on it in your hands. Put some fuel in a can or glass jar and soak the carb for a awhile it will eventually move.

to free the motor you can put it in the oven with some penetrating oil like they said, the carb id take it off, tear it down and clean everything up to free it up. if your seriously interested in that motor lasting though, id completely tear the whole thing down and clean it up. id personally go to rctalk for nitro help though
