Wow, you could go through a small fortune in tires.![]()
hey man, good point, but he is running a diffrent set-up. and thats why they wear more even. dc has fronts and rears. you cant run them backwards or rotate them. notice the diffrent tread patterns?Hi dc, you are wrong about the car being harder on tyres at the back, all on roads are harder on the front mate...look it up... you sure both tyres are the same compond? you should be trying to get even ware all round...with harder tyres on front...this is from my expereance....
dc, are you getting the same tyres as last time? i just ordered these. http://www.fgsupply.com/1_5th_scale_on_road-1_5_Medium_Rear_ICARO_tyre.html they are about $21 cheaper per set. they arent good track tires couse they don't retain heat as well, but i have used them before and they have "hell-of-a-good" tread wear and hook up pretty well. they arent good for cold or wet lots but they arent bad. also, if you boil those tires you can save the rims so you only have to by the tires and glue them youself.. just a thought, couse at your rate, you will go thru a set of tires every weakend..
DC, look on ebay right now....there are 3 box sets of tyres...1 box set has 3 sets of alloys and like new tyres...have a look mate... well worth a bid...
