i have read all of this an some said something about glueing an tape the body to make it last longer
im kinda new can some one tell me what they mean

take some drywall tape, the fibre stuff for doing the seams. put that on the body with shoe goo or goop. it adds a lot of strength. do this especially around the body holes. I go over the holes on the inside with a couple layers then cut the holes back out for the posts. also a good idea anywhere the body will rub to keep the paint from wearing off.

Guess I could have put a pic too LOL oops
I smashed the front cone of my F1 when the front spoiler caught on a curb. My brake servo failed and I couldn't slow down for the corner. I go right over the body post holes as that's where they always crack first.

I did the buggy body before I even ran it because the shock tower is there. obvious spot to break. I went many layers too hehe. remember to let the paint fully dry too. ruined paint jobs getting impatient.

I found this roll of tape stuff at the dollar store. it's sticky one side too so just stick it on and smear a coat of goop over with my finger after.. sometimes when doing layers you have to go back and push things back into place until it starts to setup good but you have some working time. the buggy got driven over from he side by an mt and my body ripped from the pull start opening to the bottom and I repaired that too. just tape the outside with masking/packing tape first to hold it until set.

check the wheels for wobble. I found I had to shim behind the wheel square because when the wheel nut was tightened all the way it ran out of threads and there was still some play in and out.... vent the gear cover with holes, you can cover with mesh after. it needs to breath or the gears will melt. and do the dual servo conversion right away

why I added the foam on the roll cage. if not it's destined to push forward on the front mounts and back on the rear. either the body breaks or the body posts in a flip. the foam may look like hats (right Al?) haha but sure saves the body

bah, most everyone on here will say bunk to that. I got mine out to the track first day. started it, quick tune and ran around. check a few threads with a search about engine break in and you'll see.
