5Tkid,

Hmm.. sorry to hear about the servo. Email me your address and I'll send a replacement out. [email protected]

Yes the brakes are extremely strong on this truck... I reduce the brake trim on my radio to limit the brakes. I try to set my brakes so that the truck stops within 6-8 feet after applying the brakes.

The stock settings literally stops the truck on a dime... lol.

that sucks the body was broken.

it looks like this truck is a great racer with some tuning to the shocks.
put a set of hostile mini mx fronts or mxt on all sides and it should really rip.

i wonder if an ss pipe would fit on that if you mounted it sideways ?

rear crushers would rock.
hopeing i can get some things taken care of. thinking bout one of these units maybe.

I think I posted on the wrong thread was looking for the matrix 5t but this truck looks awsome not many 5th scalers around my neck of the woods ...yet

Well my local dealer is out for shore we wont go there lol
But will go to another up the road a little once I get my other project done.
he is into the big boy toys too :D

no problem was not sure if I missed something been away from 5th scale for a while thanks .
I think we already have a company with some hopups if some of the fs stuff fits this truck ? see sickboy

this truck looks good but would like to see a roller version since alot of people have things that get thrown away as soon as they get it anyways

only saying this becuz from the looks of it we can see a racing future for this platform my other truck is almost were this one is starting at without the upgrades :D

Just checked out there web site and the only thing close does not offer the electronics.
thats almost there now take out the engine put a clear body and maybe the extra linkage for the dual steering and were good .:D

Well if I do get one it will go into the pile with the other stuff forsure I have a nice little 28.5cy waiting for the next project, Oh yeah that will pull the beads off the tires and round the some gears off . Speaking of gears what are the tooth counts on the trans and tire diameter if anyone knows ?thanks :D

Man I must have killed thing thread.:oops

would like to know the tire hieght or diameter on the sc truck ?
and the tooth count for the wheels on the sc truck

Thanks Rodger :white-flag:

I ran it at Moo's new track for 2 days. stock out of the box, never changed anything. an 805 isn't enough servo to turn the wheels so steering response was slow.. my only complaint. I put 6 or 7 tanks through this thing and bashed hard. it was an absolute blast to drive and other than losing a screw and chewing a plastic gear up, it ran and ran and ran. tons of power from this motor... very impressive in fact and the stock can is a nice surprise. I opened it to rip the stuffing out and there was none. haha. I won't fret if I can't get a pipe on right away. don't care. and it hung with all the blinged out super beasts just fine... we have 2 days of vids and pics to go through off a ton of cameras

I love this truck... it has such a scale feel, like a slash on steroids. once I get a second 805 in there to steer it, it will be an amazing performer. I ran it more than my tb2.. tb2 has had lots done to it so you expect it's going to be a better driver.. I have 2 weeks to get it ready for the next trip to the island... took me 6 hrs to get home tonight and I have a 12 hr workday tomorrow. getting up in 7 hrs to drive for an hour in the morning. oh boy I love sitting in that van haha. we planned a single day but the guys said they were going to run again today so we spent the night. I ran for the bathroom and my toothbrush coming home haha

the tires work really good. no ballooning, decent forward bit but I could drift the corners at high speed fairly easy if I planned and steered early. body is tough... and we ran reverse direction a couple times. the jump in front of the drivers' stand took it's toll on many vehicles. I jumped a long one and nosed in hard enough to dig a hole.. the bumper didn't even notice. no damage other than some body rips but when you have a couple 3 or 4 psycho mt guys driving over you it's bound to happen...

I highly recopmmend this truck. I have not had this much fun with a stock vehicle in a long time. I plan on kicking some serious butt with it in 2 weeks at the vancouver hobbies track... look out boys, this cen is coming for you...

I still can't get over it has a 4 bolt head too... and I actually like the stock pipe!!

Glade to see the CEN 5 SC holding up .looks awsome

I was wondering if anyone has the front axle cvd size/length and bearing sizes in the hub .I'm looking for FS parts

Thanks Rodger

my side gears took a beating. I still have a little binding. had to take 2 of the metal gears off and put the plastics back on. put dual steering servos in and it's much better. Just waiting for my pipes from jet pro to arrive. I have 2 redcat pipes coming, one experimental and one side pipe I sent in for repairs. I'll see what fits this truck.

I was looking at mcd hop ups at Innovative Hobby. Holy smokes... I don't even know if the parts will fit. my wish list ended up about $1900!!. all the holes on the parts seem to line up but I hate being a guinnae pig for that kind of dough. got it down to $800. I want the LSD's and alloy motor mount/gear plate, center dif mount. that's more than I paid for the truck. but I fear the plastic gear plate is going to be a problem eventually. I like to have a metal one on all my rc's as it helps dissipate the heat, and I hope there are hop ups for fs for that as mcd stuff is extremely expensive
