Thanks fellas! I'm chuffed how it turned out, and just how easy it is to cut with a nice sharp stanley, or craft knife. I first used foamex as inner panels for my FG Monster Beetle, help keep the unwanted dirt out, things are so much cleaner inside when it's running. Bear in mind they don't experience any kind of impact as they're within the confines of the wheels and bodyshell on that particular model. I've also done it to another FG model, making a front end. Again these were within the protection of the wheels, except the top panel which was a little more exposed. I'll have to upload some pictures to postimage and pop them on here so you can see what I mean. The RC in the above post will be a test for them as the panels are going to be subject to some impacts when my dodgy driving gets going, particularly the triangular roof pieces, they'll possibly be knocked out should it land on its roof on a stone for example, hopefully the bond I've used will keep them in place. They shouldn't break/snap hopefully. I'll keep you posted! otherwise, I'll try get those pictures uploaded of the other FG's so you can see what I mean. Whereabouts are you Nasim, in the UK or US, or somewhere else for that matter? lol
What battery setup are you running?Took me about a year to get mine together.
