I will admit, for an eword, the xmaxx is pretty badass ?Soooo, I have now got me my 1st legit large scale Eword? My initial thought on this thing is that it is a BEAST! I have now already purchased some 4S batteries and a slew of hop ups. I probably won't upgrade for a while as a have fun with this thing 1st. Here's an unboxing video and some pics.

Thanks. Believe me I'm sending it?The xmaxx is the most legit rc on the market imo. That includes gassers. The thing is just next level reliable. Sure wish they made gassers like that. Should've never sold mine. It never seemed to break aside from a bulkhead now and then. But they were hard hits. Enjoy Crucial, send vids of it flying to the moon.
Man, where you been Jimbo? You hiding from the Corona???
Post up some pics of the VW in the general chaos section??not too far from the truth if I’m being honest Man ?
been making the most of my rc’s in my back yard but space is limited.
not done much Rc since before Christmas due to weather and covid.
been in the workshop a lot as restoring An old vw so not been on the forum much ?
looking forward to when we can start going back out over here as lockdown is still in effect.
stay safe ?
Will have some upgrade videos to come. Only upgrading shortfalls like progressive springs, spring socks, wheels/tires, steering servo, etc. No beauty upgrades on this one? That thing is sick! Cant wait to see what you do with it to make it yours.

yyiipb?.....sweet dude?...u finally got one ?I will admit, for an eword, the xmaxx is pretty badass ?
Yea the one thing that has me wanting an XMaxx is that I can run it pretty much anywhere without bothering anybody. I also have a lot more experience with electric. I figure it could be something to run while I'm waiting on parts for the Vekta lol. But the 5ive could serve the same purpose. I don't think it's likely I'd break both of them at the same time. It's not like I'm gonna be jumping them off the roof of my house. The downside of the 5ive is that I'll have to buy another killswitch and another Rx. That's another $150 on top of the $1400 for the kit. All I need for the X-Maxx is a couple of batteries, so $110 +the $900 for the kit lol.You can do backflips with the xmaxx? i love it but the 5ive gets more miles on it. I pull the xmaxx out to play around. Its just too quiet but you can drive it anywhere. And its fast as fek. Sorry I couldn't answer you straight up but ???
Yeah thats good thinking. Its definitely fun tho. You can't go wrong with either.Yea the one thing that has me wanting an XMaxx is that I can run it pretty much anywhere without bothering anybody. But the 5ive is the 5ive...
But the X-Maxx is in stock 10 minutes from my house...
I might go pick it up tomorrow. We’ll see how I feel after work lol.Gotta have 1 e word about. If nothing else for a lazy, easy run. And if you have younger kids it's easy to dial the speed back for them.
It's cool. The kids love it. I haven't had a chance to send it to the moon yet tho? I have a bunch of upgrades for it but haven't really felt the need to put them on. It really feels like a toy compared to our real machines but it's cool to play with. My son loves monster trucks so he really loves it.How us this holding up @crucialRC ? Looking at getting my kids a brushless and I am have been looking at these
