I use Motul 2 stroke oil, let us know how you get on with the filter oil?

it applies well . I sprayed one fine layer on the whole filter. the filter foam has been cold as ice for a while - that's interesting. the spray is more sticky than just greasy. will definitely hold the dirt better than what was on the filter from uber rc. we will see.

I don't know in what year hpi baja stopped producing? I bought the last one 4 years ago with us. I don't know how in abroad. was it still possible to buy new hpi baja or was it just what remained in the stores?
but if I could turn back time. I'd rather buy a rovan. because even so, I almost replaced all the parts of the HPI: D and it would cost me 1/3 of the price of hpi
this annoys me. whether it is plastic or aluminum, it is always the same over time. do you have any solution for this?

sound about ok ? . the ringing sound is a metal spur gear . I don't know why I didn't deal with it at all ...

I use the normal motul filter oil, works great sticky as a bull frog. Quite a mess applying it by hand though, the spray can may be a better solution.

this annoys me that I have to cut the windows due to the reed intake of the engine and the length of the filter. is there any good shorter filter or how to solve it so I can have the whole window there ?
is this nonsense?

no , those filters are too wide and will interfere with your throttle linkage. you will have to live with the window .

Thx John . Yes. the chassis looks really like a quality product. only enough dirt sticks to the bottom of the aluminum. it's pure aluminum and in the future I will probably grind it and polish it to a high gloss..

They are definitely nice, a polished one would even be nicer lol.

Today update : after the first ride with a new OBR pipe I return to Vrc-pro pipe . I noticed a visible drop in performance over the full range . and poor top end . vrc pro ist better pipe !! . but I had to drill holes in the new irc chassis..
