what side of the truck do the numbers go that are stamped into the end of the engine locating discs.
the gastank side or the oppis
got it sorted out.
went back to stock clutch bell and pinion and stock engine tab locaters rund fine now thx.

there is no spacers i tried the black 22 and there was to much play so i took one bolt out and loosened all the rest and pushed the engine closer to the pinion than i took another set of spacers and put them cross wise after removing one bolt at a time and replaceing the black spacers with the cross spacers and tightened them.
works a hell of a lot better than the black spacers that were made for the 22 pinion.
i may just get some cap screws and washers and put them where the cross pieces are and tighten them down.
what do you think.
none of the spacers i tried have worked for the 22 tooth pinion.
i had a video but i can't get it to post.

You may have to flip the spacer around to get them to fit

seems like everything that fit the v1 losi will not fit or work on the 2.0.

I know with the standard pinion in a losi 19tooth if you buy a 22 you don't need the new locators you just use the 19's the other way round facing the throttle servo

Why would losi go and make a load of stuff redundant? Dose not make sense
Why not use existing spares?
One things for sure v1 one spare will get harder to find in time to come

Thats what im trying to say v2 spare only for v2.
That why i mentioned a while back wait a few months before you start upgrading v2 coz 3rd party spares are not avalible

I would take it like a new car model. Same name. Has 4 wheels,doors, windows, and a body. The tires are even the same size other then that.. forget about it. That's one of they ways manufacturers get ya.
