You may want to make some sort of a guard for that pipe there mate.

Cage needs an extra mount too reduce the amount of flex. This should reduce or even eliminate the problem

Only rebuilt the one so far coz it came undone. They are holding up just fine

Damn good half days running at the new 5th scale track built at HRCT, they used to have the 1/8 scale and 5th scale running on same track, we now have own dedicated track. We are still to finalise the layout but we had a play with the layout in the video.
It's all freshly dug so needs to polish up and settle in. Was great fun and I only broke a clutch spring, 10 mins spannering and back up and running. Track was super dusty, but once home I checked intake and it was as clean as you'd want it to be.
