No, I don't get government assistance. I collect a disability pension, and am still working. Im personally still fine. Its most the people I know who aren't. Some got $1200, but thats barely a months rent in a small apartment where I live. Its not even close to enough to support anyone for months on end. They're flat broke with no end in sight for going to work, and no talk of more handouts. Those who own buisnesses have little hope of being able to reopen. They don't have the money to open back up. Alot of people seem to be ignoring that very big problem.

Alot of people will die of poverty in Africa from this. Not that plenty didn't already. Its not good there.

The answer is simple. Let the young, healthy, and those willing to take a chance go back to work. Let the vulnerable and scared stay home. Once the virus rips through us, leaving very few dead, its likely to become much safer for the old and unhealthy. They're already talking food supply issues in America for christ sake. This is getting beyond dumb. I don't think many people in western civilization realize just how dangerous mass poverty is gonna be. Not the poverty we think we have, real poverty. They've become jaded to its consequences.Perhaps when people start getting murdered over food they will.
 
It's not trump's fault really. Its state governors like our arse hat wolf doing the real damage. Every week he tosses on more restrictions for everyone but his buddies and his business (which is not listed as life sustaining, but still open) I have friends and family in the same situation, dead broke and bumming off whomever they can, just to get a bit to eat. I love in eastern pa, weve been hit by it just about as bad as anywhere else, and really, the economic toll is at this point much worse. There are procedures that can be put in place to minimize risk, just like with anything else.

The government gets it money from the people. The farther our economy collapses, the less money the government can gather through taxes. Its just not feasible for a country our size, with cost of living like it is. Our currency would become worthless if they just print away. Nobody wants to force others to work. Just let those willing. We're willing to take the personal responsibility. Its what made this country great.

Its a real tragedy. Your part of the country already got hammered by outsourcing. I really think a big part of the problem is our leaders detachment from reality. None of them are struggling. Just look at the totally out of touch vlogs they make of them quarantining. Ole Pelosi showing of her 25k fridge full of thousands in ice cream. They just don't get what life is like for most people.

We're of no major concern,just piggy banks they can scam,steal or lie for personal gain.
It's (not) funny how whenever a disaster or crisis occurs, it's the people that pay.. There is always fundraisers or charities with The filth rich begging for your money.
No matter the direstraights of the citizen's.
Look at now,people have no money,work or food yet these freaking rich people are begging us to donate!!. Fek that!!.
What's even more redicoulous is anyone of these people can easily drop a few million and not even notice it. Why don't these hosts put up the money to help people in crisis and need!, all they do is tell us to please give,give, give then they leave in their jets and lambos back to their mansions and gated communities.
Oh and the ones that put up the front that they donated xxxx,people forget, these are tax write offs for them - especially if the made too much money that year and need to cut down on their taxes they may actually have to pay.
Normal people donate more money they don't have to All sorts of organizations that do nothing to actually help them.
It is sheer insanity,the brainwashing that been used upon society and people just excuse this behaviour.
If only a few of those Performers actually donated,think where we could be. All they probably care about is their cut or fee being paid. The utter blindness to what's been going on is, is staggering that nation's can get away with it and no questions asked!...!!!

Well? I'm so glad that things for me and my family are not near begging for food that would just suck?? iv been there with very little and living day to day it's hard.......never wanna go back? atleast here where I am there is light at the end of the tunnel ?? the bad will pass hang in there??

I hope so. Alot of people I know have taken to selling crap to survive. I feel awful for them struggling so bad. Most are really good people who never took a dime in handouts. Its very humiliating for them. They aren't the type to complain or beg. The worst part is the willy nilly way they pick who is essential. Need booze or weed, no problem, they're open. Crap like that is really pissing people off.

Im lucky im debt free so not feeling the pinch and my wife still has her job as a vet so we are ok? just don't have disposable income right now so no new rc projects untill i can start sell my wears?
