I think suspension setup is a personal thing because we all run such different setups and run on different surfaces. Spring rates and oil weights vary so much. Then you have grip to consider and you then throw in roll bars, it’s horses for courses.

Also I thought most full size serious off-roaders don’t run sway bars.

looks luvvly jubbly with the phil colins rims on doug ,
are they the same diameter front and rear, ya should run em and see what happens ,
reason i said are they same diameter is cos the fg 4wd setup will wind itself up wi the belt drive if there different diameters ,

yeh would only work on sommat very loose where the fronts could get slip then doug, like sand say,
owt else it'll wind the feck outa the 4wd

I like them on there might even look a lot better with the monter truck body. Beetle shell is a little short in the front

I wasnt considering getting that pattern but now I am. Problem is it would be a shame to get a set for my FG before getting for my Baja when I already have a few sets of wheels to burn.

While they look good ill not be running the bug with the gen wheels no point can't do jumps or gravel and like i said in my losi thread won't be blowing tires so

Ya, I agree not enough power to justify putting them on there baja wheels are plenty enough

Depends on what your considering serious off roaders. Most off road racers do run sway bars. It's a means to help controll body roll. Aside from rock crawling/racing and four wheeling. If you look at the rigs you'll find them tucked up and under.

I still think there’s way too many variables but yes I do take your point.

I’m going to try with and without, front and rear. I’ll try and gauge it by eye, I’ve not looked at G meters or anything I’m not that arsed.

I mean there was a noticeable difference with my Baja. I wanted to run my FG without it because I'm putting big ole tires on it but wasn't sure if it seriously degraded performance on the FG.

Also got got the bug out tank no.2 on the esp was running the ubers all round SO SO much better
30.5 was neck on neck with my m8s reed 34 baja the bug is so light just flys
